Alec Dobson is a litigation attorney with Schott, Bublitz & Engel, s.c. His practice areas include defense of long-term care facilities, general civil litigation and criminal defense.
Mr. Dobson received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Marquette University. During law school he was named to the Dean’s Honor List, worked as a project assistant for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, served as a judicial intern to United States Magistrate Judge Patricia Gorence and worked as a law clerk for a Madison law firm.
Prior to law school, Mr. Dobson was a newspaper journalist, working as an editor at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and The Milwaukee Journal. He also worked as a reporter and editor at newspapers in Illinois, Indiana and Louisiana.
